Fracture Field Prestige Guide — World Fracture & Reality Shatter
Guide to prestige timing, Core Fragments priorities, and how to plan a reset so your next run starts stronger.
What Prestige Means
Prestige is the game's reset loop: you give up run-specific progress in exchange for long-term power. The two layers described in the community are World Fracture (first prestige) and Reality Shatter (deeper reset). The important idea is the same: your timing determines whether the reset feels like a boost or a setback.
A Practical First Prestige Target
If you prestige too early, you spend your next run rebuilding the same things with barely any benefit. Many players prefer to wait until their Core Fragment reward is large enough to noticeably improve early-game shatters and Dust flow (often cited around 30+ fragments). Treat this as a benchmark, not a rule—push deeper if your run is still accelerating.
How to Spend Core Fragments
Prioritize upgrades that improve Dust generation and reduce early rebuild time. Compounding bonuses (like Dust multipliers) tend to pay back faster than niche quality-of-life nodes. If an upgrade doesn't make your first 10 minutes meaningfully faster, it can usually wait.
Prestige Loop Optimization
The easiest way to improve over time is to push at least one layer deeper each run and aim for a larger fragment reward than the previous reset. If your fragment yield stops increasing, you're probably resetting too soon or letting the quarry hit space caps.
